Caglianone’s two-run home run off Pirates starter Bailey Falter cleared not one, not two but three separate walls in center field at Kauffman Stadium for a whopping Statcast-projected 466 feet, bouncing over the QuikTrip banner below the CrownVision scoreboard.

Perez broke a 3-3 tie in the eighth inning with his longball off Isaac Mattson (2-1). He opened the scoring with a 444-foot shot to center in the second.
But the most impressive homer of the game belonged to Caglianone — a 466-foot, two-run drive to center in the fourth against Bailey Falter. It was the longest homer by a Royals rookie since Statcast started tracking in 2015 and the fourth-longest by any Kansas City player at Kauffman Stadium.

Kansas City Royals rookie Jac Caglianone has had an extremely slow start to his first MLB season, but he can still hit a ball very hard.
That power flashed big-time on Wednesday, when he crushed a 466-foot homer over the batter's eye off Pittsburgh Pirates starter Bailey Falter. The long ball, measured at 110.8 mph off the bat, put the Royals up 3-0.
Per Baseball Savant, the homer is tied for the 10th-longest homer hit in MLB this season and is the second-longest by a rookie, behind only Denzel Clarke's 471-footer with the Athletics on July 4. It's also the 10th-longest homer measured by Statcast at Kauffman Stadium.
