Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will produce heavy rain. Some street and road flooding could occur where heavy rain persists for more than 30 or 45 minutes. Rainfall totals will vary from nothing across western portions of the area to up to 4" across pockets of southern Maryland and the Eastern Shore.
