Duet Night Abyss release time countdown
Duet Night Abyss' global release is almost here, with many gacha players counting down to its release time. This formerly gacha anime looter-shooter MMO will be free to play on PC and Mobile (Android/iOS). Console players will have to wait for now, as Pan Studio (the developer) does not currently have any timeline for a potential release on PlayStation or Xbox.
With that being said, if you're eager to find out when Duet Night Abyss is going to become playable on the two available platforms, here's what we know.
Duet Night Abyss has the same release time scheduled for PC, Android, and iOS devices: It will go live on October 27, 2025, at 7 pm PT (10 pm ET). Outside of the US, this actually pushes the release date into October 28 in all continents. So, to dispel any potential confusion for this late-night global release, here's the release time for time zones across the world:
What Kind Of Impact Will Duet Night Abyss’ Monetization Have On Gacha Games?
As you know, Duet Night Abyss is scheduled to launch in just a couple of days, on Tuesday, October 28. (Technically, that’ll be Monday evening for those of us in the West.) There’s a good bit of excitement around this free-to-play action RPG, with 15 million would-be players having pre-registered for it. At least some of that excitement can likely be attributed to a change the developers made not that long ago. In fact, it’s only been about two months since the devs announced they’d be removing the gacha system for playable characters and weapons and shifting to what a friend pointed out to me was something more akin to the Warframe model.

Duet Night Abyss Livestream Shares Key Features About Upcoming Gachaless Anime Title
Duet Night Abyss, spearheaded by Pan Studios and Hero Games, has just concluded the livestream showcasing all sorts of information about the upcoming, free-to-play, "gachaless Genshin". It's an anime title built similarly to MiHoYo's Genshin Impact while keeping the predatory monetisation practices of gacha off of the characters.
The livestream has officially concluded, and it gives us a look at three key features, alongside the official theme song of the title, ahead of the launch. It's informative about the state of the game, giving us a deeper look at what we can expect.
If this sounds like the perfect experience, then don't miss out on the chance to pre-register for the title! There are plenty of rewards available, and Duet Night Abyss is going to be available on iOS, Android, and PC via a launcher, with Steam and Epic Games Store coming at a later date!
