Minnesota Wild Unveil All-Black Hometown Remix Jerseys, Will Wear Them 10 Times This Season
As part of the NHL's new Hometown Remix jersey collection, the Wild have unveiled an all-black uniform that they will wear nine times throughout the 2026-27 season.
The new look features black jerseys, matte black helmets, black gloves and black breezers, giving Minnesota a completely different look on the ice.
While the NHL is requiring teams to wear their Hometown Remix uniforms a minimum of seven times this season, the Wild have elected to wear theirs for nine games.
Minnesota will debut the uniforms on Nov. 17 when the Nashville Predators visit Grand Casino Arena.
Of the nine scheduled games, all nine will take place on home ice.
Where Do the Wild's Hometown Remix Jerseys Stack Up In Franchise History?
It looks like the Minnesota Wild jerseys for the Hometown Remix series just leaked, and you probably all have opinions. So do I, and we're gonna get to them soon.
The all-black take on the Wild logo is a big swing from Minnesota's typical color scheme. There's no presence of Iron Range Red, Harvest Wheat, or gold. Simply black, with Forest Green accents and white stripes and lettering. This makes for the 12th unique jersey scheme in franchise history, and that's as good a reason as any to rank them.
These rankings are completely arbitrary and based on my gut feel.

Washington Capitals unveil new NHL Hometown Remix jerseys: Here’s where to buy them and see the full merch drop
After weeks of teasers, leaks, and one particularly bizarre appearance by a fan at Capital One Arena, the Washington Capitals have officially unveiled their new Hometown Remix jerseys.
The new sweaters, released Monday morning as part of an NHL-wide collaboration with Fanatics, bring back the franchise’s iconic blue color scheme from the late 1990s — well, with a much brighter blue — while incorporating several design elements inspired by Washington, DC.
View the entire collection on the NHL shop here and purchase before inventory gets low.
The jersey features the Capitals’ vintage Capitol Dome logo as its primary crest, with Screaming Eagle patches on the shoulders. Black and bronze striping runs across the sleeves and waist, while the white sections of the sweater feature marble-inspired detailing that pays tribute to the architecture of the nation’s capital.
