Daft Punk Are Now Lego
We’re probably no closer to a Daft Punk reunion five years after the duo broke up—this despite completely unfounded rumors plus a run of legacy-building post-breakup projects—but now you can at least pretend Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo are playing at your house thanks to Lego’s latest collection. The Daft Punk set can be traced back to Covid lockdown, when a father and son from Luxembourg suggested the company recreate the duo’s 2007 Alive Tour pyramid stage. A rendering of that model can be found below, along with the DJ duo's official Lego minifigures. Bangalter and Homem-Christo now join the Beatles and the Spice Girls in the annals of musicians who’ve become plastic bricks.

Fans of both Daft Punk and Lego are about to get lucky.
The electronic music duo and the toy brick brand have partnered for a new multi-platform collaboration spanning product, content and brand experiences.
The partnership includes a Lego set based on the stage design from Daft Punk’s 2007 “Alive” tour, submitted on the toy company’s official crowdsourcing platform Lego Ideas.
Created by a father-son duo from Belgium, the “Daft Punk Concert” was first entered into a music-themed Lego Ideas competition in 2020, where it was crowned grand prize winner. It has since also reached 10,000 supports on Lego Ideas, meaning it will advance into the next stage of development.

Daft Punk Are (Brick) Builders After All in New Collab With Classic Toy Brand
A home-brewed father-and-son LEGO set paying homage to retired dance music legends Daft Punk's iconic Pyramid stage has helped spark a new partnership between the house of bricks and the "Robot Rock" duo. The LEGO Group announced on Thursday morning (Oct. 22) that its new partnership with the French duo aims to "inspire and remix fandoms" with a pact that promises "product, content and brand experiences" celebrating the creativity and communities of both brands.
The team-up was announced via a short film in which the minifigures representing helmeted French electronic producers Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo follow a holographic red brick through a murky landscape until they reach the "gates of play" that unlock a LEGO brick console. The teaser film is soundtracked by the incessant bass line from "Voyager" (from 2001's Discovery album) and the title track from the 2005 LP Human After All.
