Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Garrett Nussmeier spoke with reporters after practice on Friday at Missouri Western State University. He praised the early mentorship from Patrick Mahomes during training camp.
"I'm super grateful to be here. This is something that I've dreamed about my entire life. At the end of the day, I'm super blessed, and I'm super grateful. I'm in the NFL, and so I thank God every day when each, you know, this is my life right now, and so, man, I try to make the most of it. It's definitely different," said Nussmeier. So just trying to learn everything I can from them, spend as much time around Pat as I can, see his routines and things like that, and continue to try and make myself better by being around them."
