ATP Stuttgart Quarterfinal Predictions Including Jiri Lehecka vs Frances Tiafoe
Friday at the ATP 250 event in Stuttgart will feature the quarterfinals, with several intriguing matchups in prospect–including two former champions of this event in Taylor Fritz (defending champion) and Frances Tiafoe (2023) taking to the court, among other very capable grass court players. It will certainly be a very exciting day of tennis in Germany.
Bublik exited the Top 10 after losing in the first round at Roland Garros and will certainly be looking to have a strong grass court season to make up for it, but he got the short end of the stick here. He couldn’t even take a set in his last two matches against Mpetshi Perricard on clay of all surfaces, showing how much he struggles with the Frenchman’s massive serve. On grass it should be an even tougher matchup for Bublik, who needs a very focused and disciplined performance to overcome Mpetshi Perricard here.
Prediction: Mpetshi Perricard in 3

Tiafoe cruises into the quarter-finals
The 2023 BOSS OPEN champion safely negotiated his round-of-16 hurdle against Rinky Hijikata, while crowd favorite Nick Kyrgios bowed out despite a strong start and a first-set lead against Sho Shimabukuro.
Frances Tiafoe is through to the quarter-finals of the BOSS OPEN. The sixth-seeded American defeated Australia’s Rinky Hijikata 6-4, 6-4 on Thursday, underlining his ambitions of capturing a second Stuttgart title after his triumph in 2023.
The opening set remained on serve until Tiafoe secured the decisive break at 5-4 before confidently serving it out. In the second set, the American appeared to be cruising after earning an early break, but Hijikata responded immediately with a break of his own. After both players exchanged another break, Tiafoe held his nerve when it mattered most, breaking for 5-4 and then serving out the match. After 1 hour and 19 minutes, he converted his first match point on serve.
