THE LAST OF US Season 3 With Kaitlyn Dever: On June Hiatus From Vancouver Production
Season 3 of HBO’s popular adaption of The Last of Us video games, is on a four-week hiatus from production in Vancouver this month.
Filming on the new season began in early March and locals have spotted several sequences of Kaitlyn Dever’s Abby Anderson and Kyriana Kratte’s Seraphite Lev skulking through downtown Vancouver dressed as dystopian Seattle.
The Last of Us takes place 20+ years after modern civilization has been destroyed by the Cordyceps fungal pandemic.

It has been confirmed that production for season 3 of The Last of Us is on a hiatus from June 1 to June 28 for reasons unknown. The news was confirmed through the official British Columbia directory for productions currently taking place. The Last of Us is listed under the pseudonym Calm Current and is being filmed in Vancouver. Filming began on March 2, with production expected to conclude on November 27. One of the main reasons filming has stopped is due to the World Cup matches about to take place.
