Pedestrian killed in South Sacramento crash, CHP says
(FOX40.COM) — A pedestrian was killed in a vehicle crash Thursday night in South Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported around 10:07 p.m. near Judette Avenue and Power Inn Road.
CHP officials reported that the crash involved a vehicle and a pedestrian and that the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time, the identity, age and sex of the victim were not immediately available.
Authorities said the driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
It was not immediately known whether alcohol was a factor in the crash.
