Comcast Extends High Speed Internet to Missouri and Pennsylvania
Comcast announced on April 21 and April 27, 2026, the expansion of its Xfinity high-speed internet network to more than 10,000 homes and businesses across Columbia County, Pennsylvania, and the Missouri cities of Butler, Archie, and Adrian.
The infrastructure initiative brings multi-gigabit symmetrical speeds and converged Wi-Fi services to rural areas. Residents in Bloomsburg have already started accessing the network, with the entire multi-state project scheduled for completion in 2027, according to harianbasis.co.

WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE CO. (WOLF) — For the first time, high-speed internet is within reach across Bloomsburg and Columbia County, as Comcast announced a milestone in its ongoing expansion project on Monday.
The project will bring new connectivity to more than 6,000 homes and businesses across Columbia County. Residents and local companies will have access to Xfinity’s high-speed internet and more reliable Wi-Fi options.
As the area joins Comcast’s nationwide network, Vice President of Public Relations Jennifer Bilotta shared what it means for the community.
