Peoria man accused of murdering parents for ‘putting him on medication’
PEORIA, AZ (AZFamily) — A Peoria man is accused of murdering his parents over a dispute about his medication Tuesday night, according to newly released court documents.
It happened at a house near 83rd Avenue and Jomax Road around 6:45 p.m. Investigators say Jonathan Turk, 29, called the police on himself and reported that he killed his parents, Fraser Turk, 63, and Tina Turk, 56.
Court documents state that Turk told police that he “murdered his parents with a hammer and knife” because he got mad at them “for putting him on medication.” He told the 911 dispatcher that he put the weapons in his room, and he would be waiting outside for the police.
