Patriots reportedly had this trade offer for A.J. Brown rejected by Eagles
The A.J. Brown trade possibility saga could come to an end soon.
The Patriots have been a rumored landing spot for the standout wide receiver since last year, as the player’s relationship with Philadelphia has gone downhill.
New England reportedly made an offer to the Eagles for Brown, 29, but the Eagles rejected it, according to Philadelphia sports radio host Anthony Gargano.
“I do know that the Patriots have made an offer for A.J.,” he said on his “The Anthony Gargano Show” Friday. “It’s around a one and a three (first-round and third-round NFL Draft picks). Not sure if the one is this year or next year, but I hear it’s a one and a three, and [Eagles general manager] Howie [Roseman] said no.”
