WWE SmackDown is beefing up. The blue brand returns to a three-hour format on Friday, one week before Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre's Three Stages of Hell match. On Friday, McIntyre will reveal the trio of stipulations for their barbaric encounter.
Next week, the undisputed WWE championship will be at stake in the rarely seen match format. It's the sixth time WWE has produced the match — a two-out-of-three falls contest with cycling stipulations — and the first since 2019.
