It’s a statement that has been true all season, but the biggest red flag of the entire year came at the end of Sunday’s must-win game against the Los Angeles Chargers. After Gardner Minshew’s final pass toward Travis Kelce was intercepted, ending the game and eliminating Kansas City from the playoffs, a thought immediately came to mind: Where was Harrison Butker?

NFL fans are pushing the Kansas City Chiefs to cut ties with Pro Bowl kicker Harrison Butker on Monday.
Butker, 30, had a tough game on Sunday. The Chiefs fell to the Titans, 26-9, as they dropped to 6-9 on the season. Kansas City had already been eliminated from playoff contention last week. The Chiefs have also lost star quarterback Patrick Mahomes for the season with a torn ACL injury.
The Kansas City Chiefs kicker missed a key field goal during the contest. It was his fifth missed kick of the season. Butker's 84.4 field goal percentage and 88.2 extra point percentage rank low in the NFL – 28th and 38th, respectively.

Chiefs' Harrison Butker: Perfect in loss
Butker made both field-goal tries and his only extra-point attempt in Sunday's 16-13 loss to the Chargers.
Butker connected from 27 and 47 yards, respectively. The kicker has missed eight times this season between field goals and extra points, though six of those came in the first six weeks of the season. At the same time, the veteran may be limited moving forward by a struggling offense that no longer has Patrick Mahomes (knee) for the rest of the season.
