Keresztes sweeps Utd level after spell of pressure & Sapsford flashes in stunning second

Celtic have lost last three under Nancy & are six points behind Hearts with two games in hand

United eighth in top flight after one win in last 11 matches

Cool as you like with the finish from the big centre half.

Celtic fail to clear their lines again and after a period of sustained pressure, Dundee United net their deserved equaliser.

A delightful ball is scooped to the back post, Vicko Sevelj slipped in Keresztes and the big defender caressed a cracking finish across goal.

Dundee United have had four shots and two on target already in this second half.

United 'still underdogs' despite Celtic's winless run

Captain Ross Graham is urging his Dundee United team-mates not to let themselves be the side that changes Celtic's fortunes.

The Glasgow club have lost their first three games under new manager Wilfried Nancy, including Sunday's League Cup final to St Mirren, while United are winless in seven Premiership matches.

Centre-back Graham, who recently returned from an eight-month injury lay-off, said: "I'm not sure there's ever a good time to get Celtic.

"They're a top team, they've got really high quality players so we need to be switched on in that aspect.

"They're not going to be on this run of form forever, so we have to try and make sure that doesn't change for them on Wednesday night.

These of course were the first three matches in charge for new Celtic manager Wilfried Nancy and after a 2-1 defeat to Hearts in the league, a 3-0 home defeat to Roma in the Europa League and on Sunday at Hampden Park a 3-1 Premier Sports Cup Final defeat to St Mirren, it’s fair to say that Celtic needs to get a good result to narrow the gap on leaders Hearts and frankly to buy the Frenchman some much needed time ahead of Sunday’s fixture at Celtic Park against Aberdeen.
