MONROE, La. (KNOE) – The City of Monroe announced all phone lines and internet services are down at the Benoit Community Center, the Saul Adler Community Center and the Chennault Golf Course.

The city said staff at each location are available to help in person, but they currently cannot take phone calls or access internet-based services.

When she went to the Floyd County Public Library to try again, it was out there too — part of a widespread internet outage in the region. So Roberts took her two sons, Gavin and Ethan, sledding instead.
