Ohio State Coach Emerging as Potential Favorite for Big Ten Rival
The Ohio State Buckeyes are gearing up for a massive showdown on Saturday evening against the Indiana Hoosiers in the Big Ten championship game. Heading into the game, Ohio State finds itself as the No. 1 ranked team in the country. Indiana, on the other hand, holds the nation's No. 2 overall ranking.
To say that this game is highly-anticipated would be a major understatement.
For Ryan Day and company, it's an opportunity to send a clear statement ahead of the College Football Playoff. As the Buckeyes search to win their second straight national championship, a win over the Hoosiers would make it clear that they're still clearly the team to beat.
Ohio State Buckeyes receive great news after Brian Hartline's head coaching interview
Just a few days after beating Michigan, Ohio State received a good bit of positive news.
Buckeyes offensive coordinator Brian Hartline has been respected as one of the best talent evaluators at the wide receiver position. Earlier Monday morning, it looked like Hartline could be on the move.
According to reports, Hartline interviewed for Kentucky’s vacant head football job on Monday.
However, Kentucky is expected to move forward with Oregon offensive coordinator Will Stein. He’s a Kentucky native, one of the country’s top offensive minds and play callers, and will now be leaving the Big Ten to help his hometown team.
