Colts place DT DeForest Buckner on injured reserve
The Colts on Friday placed defensive tackle DeForest Buckner on injured reserve, meaning he will miss at least the Colts' next four games.
The Colts have a bye week in Week 11, so Buckner will be eligible to return starting in Week 15. Shane Steichen said Buckner sustained a neck injury during the Colts' Week 9 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Buckner has missed a total of six games in his career due to injury; he was placed on injured reserve last season with an ankle injury and missed five weeks.

BERLIN — The Colts landed in Germany without their most disruptive defensive player, and it turns out they'll be without him for awhile.
Defensive tackle DeForest Buckner will be placed on injured reserve because of a neck injury, coach Shane Steichen said after the team's practice at Berlin's Olympiapark.
The Colts are hopeful Buckner can return at some point, but his absence will be a blow to the defense for however long he is out. Buckner leads the Colts with 20 pressures despite facing double-teams on 64.2% of his pass-rush snaps.

DeForest Buckner ruled out and won’t travel, Sauce Gardner clears concussion protocol
The Colts will not have one of their key defenders for Sunday’s game against the Falcons in Germany.
Defensive tackle DeForest Buckner has been ruled out with a neck injury after he did not practice on Wednesday and Thursday. He will not travel with the team to Berlin.
In nine games this season, Buckner has recorded 42 total tackles with nine tackles for loss, 13 QB hits, and 4.0 sacks.
