Alex Murdaugh’s Lawyers Slam Hulu’s ‘Death in the Family’: “Deeply Disappointed & Disturbed”
As Murdaugh: Death in the Family heads toward its Nov. 19 finale on Hulu, the disgraced patriarch at the center of the true crime story is speaking out.
Alex Murdaugh‘s legal team has said that the convicted murderer “is deeply disappointed and disturbed” by the depiction from creators Michael D. Fuller and Erin Lee Carr, accusing them of “numerous inaccuracies” in the series, new episodes available Wednesdays on the streamer.
“The program contains numerous inaccuracies and misleading portrayals that distort the truth of their lives,” said Murdaugh’s defense team in a statement shared with the New York Post.
“The depiction of their personal family dynamics is particularly troubling, as it totally mischaracterizes Alex’s relationships with his wife, Maggie, and his son, Paul, both of whom Alex loves so dearly,” they added.
