The New York Jets have watched their season fall short and fizzle out, as they began the 2025 campaign with a 1-7 record through Week 9. Following the departure of future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers after one injury-riddled year in the Big Apple, the team has seemingly found no answers behind the quarterback combination of Justin Fields and Tyrod Taylor.
With the NFL trade deadline set for 4 PM ET today (Nov 4), the team could be looking to unload some of its high-priced veterans. One name that has been mentioned in multiple rumors is big defensive tackle Quinnen Williams.
Jets Trade Pitch Delivers First-Round Pick for Star Team Captain
The New York Jets might receive an offer they canât refuse.
Heavy Sportsâ Max Dible proposed a deal ahead of the Tuesday, November 4 NFL Trade Deadline.
âNew York is willing to move off of a star DT in Williams for a first-rounder, while the Ravens need help along the defensive line, particularly getting more physical and tougher at the point of attack. Baltimore was all-in on this season before stumbling out of the gates and falling to 1-5 after Lamar Jacksonâs injury. But the team is 2-0 since and still somehow favored to win the AFC North, even if by only a slight margin. The Ravens will be buyers ahead of the deadline if theyâre anything, and trading for Williams is the type of move that makes sense for a team with Baltimoreâs talent and aspirations,â Dible explained.

Steelersâ defense has a perfect low-cost secondary fix at the NFL trade deadline
With the NFL trade deadline just hours away, the Pittsburgh Steelers can still make improvements to their secondary. There are several exciting names on the trading block, but many are much too expensive for the Steelers to realistically pursue.
After all, Pittsburghâs trade for Kyle Dugger last week wasnât one that everyone saw coming. DeShon Elliottâs injury may have forced their hand, but it only took a late pick swap to bring him in. In his first week with the team, he played surprisingly well.
Pittsburgh would relish the opportunity to make a similar improvement in the secondary at a low cost. With Beanie Bishop out of the picture, Darius Slay playing well below the bar, and Jaylen Ramsey effectively moving to safety, the need at cornerback is too much to ignore. Thankfully, they might not need to sell the farm for another addition on the back end.
