Junior Vandeross III will lead the Toledo Rockets (3-3) into their battle versus the Kent State Golden Flashes (2-4) at Glass Bowl on Saturday at 2 p.m. ET.

In their most recent outing, the Rockets fell to the Bowling Green Falcons 28-23. Their last time out, the Golden Flashes won 42-6 over the UMass Minutemen. Against the Falcons, Tucker Gleason led the Rockets with 264 yards on 19-of-30 passing (63.3%) for one touchdown and one interception. He also carried the ball six times for 1 yard and one rushing touchdown. DeaMonte Trayanum carried the ball 27 times for 125 yards (4.6 yards per carry) with one touchdown on the ground. Vandeross had six receptions for 100 yards (16.7 per catch) against the Falcons. Dru DeShields' performance for the Golden Flashes against the Minutemen included 10-of-18 passing for 148 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions. Jordan Nubin put together a 15-carry, 80-yard game (5.3 yards per attempt) with one touchdown. Dashawn Martin caught three passes on five targets for 42 yards (14.0 yards per reception), and scored one touchdown.
