Miranda Lambert Spotlights Husband Brendan McLoughlin On His Birthday: 'You Are The Best'
Miranda Lambert shared a few memories with her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, as she celebrates the former New York City police officer’s birthday on Tuesday (October 14).
“Happy birthday to my city gone country and honorary Texan husband [Brendan McLoughlin],” Lambert wrote in her caption on Instagram. “Lover of the sun, his family, friends, the kitchen, pasta, hot dogs, travel, animals and all things fun. You are the best. 34 looks good on you! I love you.”
Lambert, 41, met McLoughlin when she appeared with her Pistol Annies bandmates on Good Morning America in November 2018. One of her bandmates invited McLoughlin, who was working security, to their performance later that evening, where he could spend more time with Lambert. The couple quickly tied the knot in a surprise intimate wedding ceremony in January 2019 outside of Nashville, Tennessee.

Miranda Lambert and her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, are coming up on seven years of marriage — and there’s one quality about him that stands out above all the rest.
“He’s so supportive,” Lambert gushed. “I’m so lucky to have him as my husband.”
The country superstar says McLoughlin — a retired NYPD officer — came from a very different world, but stepped seamlessly into hers.
“He’s from New York City, so this whole world is totally different to him, but he came straight into it,” she told Cowgirl Magazine.
The "Gunpowder & Lead" singer continued, “Were almost at seven years of marriage now. I have a stepson, and we spend a lot of time in New York with him. But the beauty of it all is that Brendan’s a retired NYPD officer.”
