UFC Champ Is a Killer in First Look at Horror Movie Pitfall | Exclusive
ComingSoon is debuting two exclusive first-look photos of the upcoming horror movie Pitfall, starring former UFC champion and mixed martial arts legend Randy Couture.
Pitfall is directed by James Kondelik and will mark Couture’s return to film following the legend suffering a serious injury while test-driving a Pro Mod race car earlier this year. Couture stars in the movie as a “ruthless, bloodthirsty killer driven by revenge and torture,” and the images show off a mysterious look at Couture’s character.

Pitfall “follows a young man who becomes separated from his friends in the woods and falls into a ten-foot spike-lined pit, impaling his leg and leaving him trapped,” according to the film’s official synopsis. “As his desperation mounts, he realizes the fall was no accident, but the start of a calculated nightmare. The film delves into the origin of the bloodthirsty killer, adding extra layers that heighten the horror narrative.”

The Final Destination franchise revolves around hapless people being chased down by Death itself – a force capable of extreme punishment, and yet which is never physically depicted on-screen as a tangible being, thankfully.
Now, it's absolutely worth pointing out that the series has occasionally depicted the vague essence of Death by way of shadowy shapes moving around, but it's also quite sensibly never committed to showing Death without ambiguity.
For many years, it was a popular fan theory that mortician William Bludworth (Tony Todd) was actually the personification of Death – hence his intimate knowledge of how Death operates – but the most recent sequel, Final Destination Bloodlines, quite categorically proved that not to be true.
