Adele has been approached about playing the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show, insiders tell Page Six — but she has not been booked to play the gig.

As much as the NFL would love to have international music star Taylor Swift do their Super Bowl LX halftime show, the league may be forced to look into more realistic options. One other major music sensation is quickly ascending as a potential show leader.
According to Sports Business Journal via Page Six, 16-time Grammy winner Adele has been approached about performing.
It wouldn't be the first time that the NFL has tried to get her on the stage. She revealed back in 2016 that she was approached by the NFL about doing the Super Bowl but declined because she can't dance like other halftime performers do. Adele said that the NFL reps were "very kind" but she turned them down.
