Commanders sign Duke Riley after working out two former Eagles linebackers on Sunday
The Washington Commanders have several key injuries and holdouts on the roster, and with preseason matchups looming, the NFC East hopefuls worked out 14 players on Sunday. Two of those players included former Eagles linebackers Nicholas Morrow and Duke Riley.
Morrow spent the bulk of last season with the Buffalo Bills after the veteran linebacker posted 95 total tackles, including 3.0 sacks, and five passes defended in 2023 with the Eagles.
Riley logged 11 tackles (five solo) across 17 regular-season games with the Dolphins in 2024.

Commanders Tried Out 14 Players
According to Mike Garafolo, the Commanders tried out 14 players on Sunday, including several linebackers.
The following is a list of players who tried out for Washington:
Barno, 26, was an honorable mention All-ACC in 2020 and a two-year starter at Virginia Tech.Â
He was selected in the sixth round in the 2022 NFL Draft by the Panthers and signed a four-year, $3.845 million deal that includes a signing bonus of $185,404.Â
Barno has bounced on and off the teamâs active roster ever since.
In 2024, Barno made five appearances for the Panthers and recorded seven tackles along with one sack.
