Given the vibes in the country at the time, much of what cinema brought reflected the moral ambiguity and raw grit that was fresh on the minds of viewers at the time. Films such as "The Godfather" and "Taxi Driver" are a showcase of some of New Hollywood's rising filmmakers, whose creative sensibilities influenced cinema for generations, and helped reflect the collective cynicism of the American people in that decade. Backstreet Boy sues Florida Panhandle sheriff over trespassing claims at his private beach

WALTON COUNTY, Fla. — Backstreet Boys singer Brian Littrell has filed a lawsuit against the Walton County Sheriff's Office, claiming that deputies wouldn't enforce property rights laws at his private Florida Panhandle property.

The lawsuit is regarding private beach property owned by Littrell's BLB Beach Hut, LLC. It states that trespassers have aimed to "antagonize, bully and harass the Littrell family."

According to the lawsuit, Littrell has tried to protect his property by placing “no trespassing” signs, chairs, umbrellas, and small tables to secure the lines. He says he has also hired security for his property.

The lawsuit claims the Walton County Sheriff has refused to come to the property and "made it clear that his office would not attend to the Subject Property and protect the Littrell Family."
