NFL Network: Bears acquiring DT Jeffery Simmons from Titans in blockbuster trade
The Chicago Bears are acquiring defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons from the Tennessee Titans in a trade, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Thursday.
The Titans will receive 2027 and 2028 first-round draft picks in addition to a 2027 fourth-rounder, while the Bears will also receive a 2028 fifth-round selection, per Schefter.
Simmons is coming off his fourth-career Pro Bowl selection and first-career first-team All-Pro honor in 2025 after he had a career-high 11 sacks for the Titans. That production earned him a three-year, $105.8 million contract extension during the offseason.
