‘The View’ Addresses Rumors About Firing Trump Nemesis Joy Behar

The veteran co-host was alleged to be on the outs amid a nasty shoulder injury.

The View has set the record straight on the fate of Joy Behar.

A rep for the daytime talk show confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that the veteran co-host, 84, won’t be leaving the program anytime soon, despite a report from RadarOnline.com last week saying otherwise.

The rep told EW that “there is no truth” to the report alleging Behar was on the outs amid a rumored “panel shake-up” because of “producers looking to make the show less shrill and more inviting to a broader audience.”

'The View' Executives 'Want Joy Behar to Retire' Following Serious On-Set Injury and Backstage Risks, Source Claims: 'She's Become a Major Liability'

The 84-year-old fell and dislocated her and has been absent from the desk since October 1.

Insiders suggested it's getting harder for her to navigate the set as Behar "needs staff to guide her around backstage.” Her mobility issues are leaving staff and cast members concerned, one insider shared.

"People are increasingly worried about her falling," a source spilled. "It’s become a dangerous situation, and nobody wants to be responsible if something happens."

Despite concern for her well-being, Behar "refuses to even consider" retirement.

"Joy isn’t going anywhere voluntarily,” the insider suggested. "She still thinks she can do the job, and nobody has the courage to tell her it’s time to leave."

THE VIEW executives are planning to make a major format change for Joy Behar after she suffered a brutal injury at ABC’s New York studios, sources have told The U.S. Sun.

Joy, 84, has been away from the daytime talk show since October 1 after she fell at work last month and dislocated her shoulder.

Now, sources close to production said that ABC execs are looking at making significant changes to the show for Joy’s safety.

One insider who is intimately familiar with The View‘s format said that staff have become increasingly concerned for their star’s safety at work, and they are eyeing potential tweaks to accommodate her.
