Thélyson Orélien, the Haitian-Canadian writer whose best-selling debut novel was pulled from the prestigious Goncourt prize list amid an AI uproar, said Tuesday "not a single sentence" had been written by a machine. He did, however, admit to "unacceptable mistakes" regarding accusations of plagiarism involving earlier works.
