The PS5 emulator runs Marvel Wolverine on the RTX 5090 with 2 FPS.
Enthusiasts continue to develop emulation technologies for the current generation of consoles and have reached a new technical milestone. Using an experimental PlayStation 5 emulator, they were able to run a build of the superhero action game Marvel Wolverine on a personal computer. The program was able to initialize the project with the identifier PPSA03671, version 01.001.005, and display the game's start menu with the message "Press Start."
Despite the successful launch, it's too early to talk about full-fledged gameplay. A test run showed performance at just 2 FPS directly in the static main menu. The demonstration was performed on a flagship hardware platform based on an eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor and a discrete NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card.
