Russia loses 2,090 soldiers over past day
Russia has lost 2,090 soldiers killed and wounded over the past day, bringing its total number of personnel losses to 1,531,060.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 28 September 2026 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

Ukrainian forces have also destroyed 12,385 (+1) Russian tanks, 25,450 (+8) armored combat vehicles, 50,477 (+49) artillery systems, 2,165 (+2) multiple launch rocket systems, 1,679 (+2) air defense systems, 443 aircraft, 356 helicopters, 2,774 (+12) ground robotic systems, 537,228 (+1,382) operational-tactical drones, 5,118 cruise missiles, 35 warships and boats, 2 submarines, 154,735 (+490) vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,763 (+7) units of special equipment.

Intelligence reports show Russia is planning more acts of sabotage in Europe, EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas said on Monday.
"We need to be vigilant because we see in the intelligence that Russia is planning more sabotage acts and attacks against our democracy – to divide our society, to intimidate our societies (into) refraining to help Ukraine," Kallas said before a meeting of EU defence ministers in Brussels.
