Dunham and Felber tied the knot in September 2021. The actress confirmed the wedding date on her Instagram a few days after the official ceremony. "9*25*21 – that's how she became the nanny…" the actress captioned a wedding photo of the couple.

Lena Dunham and her husband, Luis Felber, have welcomed a child via a surrogate.
The couple, who have been married since September 2021, are now the proud parents of a baby girl, the actress revealed in a Wednesday op-ed in Vogue.We hear the couple are currently in the States and will soon head back to their home in North London, where Felber is from.
Dunham, 40, has been open about medical issues with her reproductive system. In 2017, at the age of 31, she had a hysterectomy due to severe endometriosis, a painful condition where tissue grows outside the uterus.
In 2018, she had her left ovary which she said was “encased in scar tissue and fibrosis, attached to my bowel and pressing on nerves that made it kinda hard to walk/pee/vamp,” Dunham wrote in an essay. “Over the last month it got worse and worse until I was simply a burrito shaped like a human.”

Lena Dunham has welcomed her first child with her husband, musician Luis Felber.
The “Girls” creator shared the news about the birth of her daughter, who was welcomed via surrogate, in an essay for Vogue published Sept. 16. TODAY.com has reached out to Dunham and Felber for comment.
Dunham in Vogue described the moment of her daughter’s birth: “And then, 13 days late, in the face of a solar eclipse and a meteor shower, she announced herself. I sat on a hospital bed, between the legs of a woman I hadn’t known a year ago, waiting for a glimpse of this person who I had been waiting for with something related to patience, but also none at all.”
