Peter Thiel Brings 'Closed-Door' Antichrist Lecture Series to Nashville After Vatican-Area Talks
Palantir co-founder and chairman Peter Thiel will begin a four-part Antichrist lecture series in downtown Nashville on 28 September. The weekly programme runs through 19 October under closed-door, off-the-record rules, with devices prohibited during the sessions.
Thiel has staged similar programmes elsewhere. Four Antichrist lectures were held in San Francisco during September and October 2025. He later delivered four private lectures in Rome in March 2026, near Vatican City.
The Rome events drew scrutiny partly because of that proximity. They were not sponsored by the Vatican, and Catholic institutions publicly distanced themselves from involvement.
The Pamphleteer is presenting the Nashville series, with Meriwether Academy listed as a co-host. Organisers say the lectures will examine the biblical Antichrist through history, literature, art, theology and politics.
