Amber alert canceled following 4-year-old boy's abduction
An Amber Alert was canceled Wednesday after law enforcement located a 4-year-old boy who they say was abducted.
The notice for the public's help was issued just before 5:30 p.m. in connection with a child who was believed to have been abducted by a 23-year-old man. The California Highway Patrol released images and descriptions of the victim and suspect in hopes the public could help locate them.
Just after 8 p.m., CHP announced the child had been located. Further details on the case were not released.
It's unclear if any arrests were made in connection with the child's disappearance.
Amber Alert canceled after police locate 4-year-old allegedly taken from Los Angeles
An Amber Alert that was issued for a 4-year-old who was allegedly abducted from Los Angeles on Wednesday morning was canceled after he was safely located by police.
According to California Highway Patrol officers, Selah Tillery was last seen at around 11 a.m. somewhere in LA County. They issued the Amber Alert on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Tillery was described as being 3 feet tall and weighing around 45 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white tank top with blue sweatpants and blue checkered shoes.
Investigators said that the suspect, 23-year-old Donnel Paige, allegedly took the child from W. Manchester Avenue and Hoover Street and fled from the area on foot. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and black pants and is described as standing around 5-foot-9 and weighing approximately 155 pounds.
