"As I'm sure you're aware, anytime I post a photo of myself, I receive an enormous amount of comments telling me how disgusting I look and I'm anorexic or I'm on meth or that I've lost so much weight," the actress told her followers in a since-deleted post Monday, as reported by multiple outlets.
The 53-year-old posted a screenshot of the remarks in question, including, "Loosen up the [Ozempic]!! You were divine and now you look anorexic!"

The 53-year-old actress shared several messages she's received from social media users in a post on her Instagram Stories on Saturday, Aug. 8, while explaining why she had deleted all of her other posts, according to People.

Beckinsale said her weight has been affected in part by grief following the death of her mother, actress Judy Loe, who died of cancer in July 2025. Her stepfather, director Roy Battersby, died in January 2024.
