OGDEN, Utah (KUTV) — Traffic was heavily delayed on Interstate 15 in Ogden after a multi-vehicle crash involving two semi-trucks.
The crash was first reported just before 6:30 a.m. by the Utah Department of Transportation.
Utah Highway Patrol said one person was picking up cones in the area, causing some slowing on the southbound lanes of I-15 near 12th Street in Ogden. A second semi-truck approached the backup too quickly and was unable to stop properly, causing the crash.
Officials said there were no injuries reported from the crash, and medical responders did not assess anyone on scene.
The crash caused significant delays between Farr West and Ogden for multiple hours as crews investigated and cleared the scene.
