Bears: Quarterback Caleb Williams looked poised and comfortable in taking the field for the first time this preseason, going 6-for-10 for 107 yards and a touchdown in two series that lasted half of the first quarter. The Bears didn't let a bungled kickoff return that buried them at the 8-yard line on their first drive or a holding penalty derail momentum. Williams struck efficiently from the pocket and found tight ends Cole Kmet and Colston Loveland for big gains. He also continued to show off his connection with wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus, who caught a 36-yard pass for a touchdown to cap the Bears' opening drive.
6 trends to watch for fantasy football: Preseason Week 2
In today’s era of fantasy football, you can’t afford to wait until potential trends become obvious signals. By the time everyone agrees these developments matter, the edge is gone — which is why I write this column. My goal is to help you spot trends before your competition, hopefully leading you to this year’s league-winning pick, like Brock Bowers, Brian Thomas or Jayden Daniels last season.
Each week, I flag developing trends that might matter for fantasy football. Last Saturday, this column highlighted De’Von Achane’s usage, Emeka Egbuka’s opportunity and Isaac TeSlaa’s flashes, estimating Achane’s preseason ADP will drop slightly while Egbuka’s and TeSlaa’s will rise significantly.

With less than three weeks to go before the season begins, here were the key takeaways from Week 2 of the preseason:
Maybe all of the concern about the Bears offense will quiet a little now. There have been enough worrisome reports from camp that it seemed Caleb Williams and the offense were having trouble picking up new coach Ben Johnson's scheme. In the starters' first preseason action, there weren't many issues.
