AMBER Alert issued for 15-year-old mother, her child last seen in Converse
CONVERSE, Texas – The Texas Department of Public Safety issued an AMBER Alert Monday for a teenage mother and her child who were last seen in Converse.
Alejandro Vasquez, 1, and Escarleth Vasquez, 15, were last seen at approximately 3 p.m. on May 9 in the 7000 block of Phoenix Path, which is located near Woodlake Parkway.
A DPS spokesperson said it “recently” received a request from the Texas Department of Family Services to locate the teenager and infant. After reviewing available information, DPS said its agents determined the mother and child were in “grave or immediate danger.”
Alejandro Vasquez is 2 feet, 10 inches tall, with black hair and brown eyes.

CONVERSE, Texas – Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar is asking for the public's help locating 15-year-old Escarleth Vasquez and her 1-year-old son, Alejandro Vasquez, after the Texas Department of Public Safety issued an AMBER Alert for the pair.
According to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, Escarleth left her home in the 7000 block of Phoenix Path on the Northeast Side on May 9 with Alejandro and never returned. Deputies said the pair's last known contact was around 1 p.m. that day, and their whereabouts remain unknown.

Salazar said during a Tuesday morning briefing that investigators do not know where Escarleth and her son are, although there has been speculation that she may be with a boyfriend. Authorities have not confirmed who she may be with or where she may have traveled.
