New traffic patterns being tested around Bank of America Stadium for major events: What to know
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Tens of thousands of people can descend upon Bank of America Stadium at any given point during the week in Uptown Charlotte for a big event from concerts, Charlotte FC and the Carolina Panthers. Traffic can be a pain for those living in Uptown or going to and from events.
For the first time this weekend during the Chris Stapleton concert, there’s new traffic routes being tested to try and get people in and out of the area more efficiently.

The new routes focus on three heavy traffic spots around the stadium, and the goal is to get people to the interstates as efficiently as possible.
Temporary CATS Bus Detour – Chris Stapleton’s All-American Road Show

The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will temporarily adjust the following bus routes due to road closures for Chris Stapleton’s All-American Road Show at Bank of America Stadium on June 20.
