More than 9,000 without power in Jefferson Parish
JEFFERSON PARISH (WVUE) – More than 9,000 residents in Jefferson Parish are without power Sunday afternoon, according to the Entergy outage map.
Entergy New Orleans outage map reported that approximately 9,293 customers were experiencing outages in Kenner.
A spokesperson from Entergy New Orleans said crews are on the scene working to make repairs as quickly and safely as possible. The cause is under investigation, but it stemmed from an outage at a nearby substation.
“Customers can use our view outage map at Entergy.com or the Entergy mobile app for the latest restoration estimates,” the spokesperson said.
