Holloway signs 5-year contract extension
St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today that the Blues have agreed to terms with forward Dylan Holloway on a five-year contract extension worth $38.75 million ($7.75 million annual average value).
Holloway, 24, dressed in 59 games for the Blues this season and ranked second on the team with 22 goals, while his 51 points shared second.
Following the Olympic break, the Calgary native shared seventh in the NHL with 34 points, while his 29 even‑strength points tied for second and his +26 rating led the league over the final 25 games of the season.
Over the past two seasons with the Blues, Holloway has logged 114 points (48 goals, 66 assists) and a +34 rating in 136 regular‑season games, making him one of only 25 forwards overall with at least 100 points and a +30 rating in that span.

ST. LOUIS — The St. Louis Blues have locked up one of their core young players, re-signing forward Dylan Holloway.
The club announced Friday that it has agreed to terms on a five-year contract extension that will begin with the 2026-27 season. A team source told The Athletic the deal is for $38.75 million, with an average annual value of $7.75 million.
Holloway, 24, was set to become a restricted free agent on July 1. He did have arbitration rights.
In 59 games with St. Louis last season, Holloway had 22 goals and 51 points. He has 48 goals and 114 points in 136 games with the team since arriving from the Edmonton Oilers via an offer sheet. He was originally drafted at No. 14 by the Oilers in 2020.

Blues’ Dylan Holloway Wants Long-Term Deal
Two summers ago, the St. Louis Blues sent waves through the hockey world by poaching defenseman Philip Broberg and forward Dylan Holloway from the Edmonton Oilers via offer sheets. Both players have performed exceptionally well with the Blues so far, but only one has signed a long-term contract with the organization.
Holloway will have that opportunity this summer. On July 1st, Holloway’s two-year, $4.58MM contract, the offer sheet that pried him away from Alberta, will expire. Holloway will be eligible for arbitration and is owed a qualifying offer of $2.29MM, which St. Louis is expected to tender.
In a new update from the Blues, the team quoted Holloway, saying, “It was kind of wild two years ago. But obviously I’m very thankful to be a Blue and I want to be a Blue for a long time.” There will obviously be mutual interest from St. Louis to retain Holloway, but they may not have much appetite for a lengthy commitment just yet.
