LeBron James Reacts to Bronny James' Move After Lakers Decision
Bronny James' path at the NBA level has been rough from the jump. In his second season with the Los Angeles Lakers, he's averaging just 2.1 points in 7 minutes per game, nearly identical to his poor numbers from his rookie campaign.
Safe to say, he hasn't been able to crack the rotation in a crowded backcourt. But the development underway in El Segundo tells a different story.
Since being assigned to the South Bay after the Chicago Bulls game on Friday, Bronny has been a completely different player. Right now, he's averaging 15.3 points on 54.6% shooting, 42.1% from three and 90.9% from the free-throw line in 25.8 minutes per game in the G League.
Bronny James' improbable leap has the Lakers asking crucial question
LeBron James and Bronny James have been joint at the hip during their time in the NBA. The father-son duo have known nothing but life on the Los Angeles Lakers thus far. The older of the two could be heading for new horizons in the summer. That leaves the franchise questioning whether Bronny fits with the future plans in Los Angeles.
The younger of the two James has a partially guaranteed contract the Lakers could theoretically save some money on if they were to release him before the deadline on June 29. They might not want to at this point. Bronny's development has been coming along nicely in the G League.

Los Angeles Lakers Announce Roster Move After Bulls Game
On Thursday evening, the Lakers played the Chicago Bulls in Los Angeles.
The Lakers continued their hot streak, winning by a score of 142-130.
They have now won four games in a row (and seven out of their last ten).
