The Calgary Flames have dealt the veteran centre to the Colorado Avalanche, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported on Friday.
The 35-year-old has 12 goals and 29 assists in 61 games for the Flames this season. He's got 1,046 career games under his belt, with 319 goals and 751 points.
Kadri is under contract through the 2028-29 season with a cap hit of $7 million.
The Leafs selected Kadri seventh overall in the 2009 draft. Toronto traded Kadri to the Avs in the summer of 2019 and played there for three seasons before signing with the Flames in free agency in 2022.
Now, he'll get the chance to run it back for the Stanley Cup-favourite Avalanche.
