More budget airline deals announced for Tampa Bay travelers
Breeze Airways announced three new nonstop flights out of Tampa International Airport starting this summer. FOX 13's Ariel Plasencia reports.
TAMPA, Fla. – Breeze Airways announced three new nonstop flights out of Tampa International Airport (TPA) starting this summer.
Allegiant Air recently launched three new nonstop routes connecting St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) to Atlantic City, NJ (started Feb. 13); Trenton, NJ (started Feb. 20); and Huntsville, AL (starting March 5).

"Airlines have their own strategies when it comes to picking out airports, and some prefer to be at a major airport. They find that those major airports may attract more travelers," Henry Harteveldt, travel industry analyst at Atmosphere Research Group, said. "Other budget airlines, like smaller airports — they're less crowded, they are usually much less expensive to operate from, and they may serve a different population area. So, it's really a matter of individual choice by airlines. There's no one right or wrong answer."
Breeze announces two new destinations from Savannah
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – Breeze Airways has announced new destinations available from the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport. Breeze Airways executives announced a new non-stop route from Savannah, Ga. to Columbus, Ohio, and one-stop, no change of plane BreezeThru service to Portland, Maine, starting July 1. The company also announced it will increase frequencies between Savannah and Fort Lauderdale also beginning July 1.
Savannah/Hilton Head Airport provided a map showing all current non-stop flights from Savannah, including the new additions from Breeze Airways.

New nonstop flights out of CVG good news for lobster roll lovers
There's good news for Greater Cincinnatians who like lobster rolls and waterfalls.
Two new, nonstop flights have been announced out of Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport that will take you to either one.
Breeze Airways has launched seasonal routes to Greenville-Spartanburg, South Carolina and Portland, Maine.
“As Breeze grows, we continue to connect the dots between our existing cities, and this new service from Cincinnati is a great example,” David Neeleman, founder and CEO of Breeze Airways, said in a news release.
Here's what you need to know about the flights, which can be booked starting today.
The announcement means CVG will have nonstop flights to more than 60 destinations this summer, airport CEO Larry Krauter said in a news release.
