St. John’s will be seeking its 12th straight win when it takes the floor at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee for Wednesday night’s Big East game against Marquette. But it will be facing a very different team than the one it trounced by 24 points on Jan. 13 at the Garden.
Just as the No. 17 Red Storm (20-5, 13-1) have been evolving over the month that has passed, so have the Golden Eagles (9-17, 4-11).

Can the Golden Eagles keep their home winning streak alive when they host a ranked Red Storm squad?
Marquette Injury Note: Sean Jones has missed the last 12 games with a foot issue. After the National Marquette Day game against Butler, Shaka Smart said he is not sure if Jones will be able to get back on the court before the end of the regular season.
St. John’s Roster Note: Dillon Mitchell was ejected from STJ’s most recent game, a 79-69 win at Providence, for a dead ball flagrant technical foul which came as part of a scrum after PC’s Duncan Powell fouled Bryce Hopkins hard on a breakaway and then taunted after the foul. I’m pretty sure that ejection doesn’t carry a suspension like the one for fighting does, but it’s worth keeping an eye on, perhaps?

Marquette vs St. John's: Prediction, starting lineups, odds, TV info
The good news for the Marquette men's basketball team is that it has won three straight home games.
The bad news is that, after back-to-back road losses, the Golden Eagles (9-17, 4-11 Big East) return to Fiserv Forum to face one of the nation's hottest teams in St. John's.
The Red Storm (20-5, 13-1) has won 11 straight games, the fourth-longest winning streak in the nation. One of those came in a rout over MU at Madison Square Garden on Jan. 13.
