Shinedown brings world tour to Resch Center in May
ASHWAUBENON (WLUK) — A rock band is bringing its world tour to the Green Bay area.
Shinedown will be at the Resch Center on Wednesday, May 13 at 7 p.m.
The Dance Kid Dance Act ll World Tour comes after the band announced they will be releasing its new studio album EI8HT on May 29, including its new released song, “Safe And Sound.”
Joining Shinedown will be Coheed and Cambria, Black Stone Cherry, and DJ Rock Feed.
Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, Feb. 20 at 10 a.m. at ReschCenter.com, by phone 020.494.3401 or at the TicketStar box office in the Resch Center.

Shinedown, which is fronted by Knoxville native Brent Smith, will play Thompson-Boling Arena at Food City Center on July 25 as part of its Dance, Kid, Dance Act II world tour. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 20 via Ticketmaster.
The tour is in support of the band's upcoming album "EI8HT," which comes out May 29. The band also released four singles in 2025, including the No. 1 hits “Dance, Kid, Dance" and “Killing Fields” and the recent release, “Searchlight.”

Shinedown’s Brent Smith Talks New ‘EI8HT’ Album, Family Loss, and the State of America
Last month, Shinedown frontman Brent Smith said goodbye to the strongest woman he knew, his mom Patricia, who died on Jan. 19 at age 72. “I remember my mother putting her hands on my hands and looking me in the eyes just saying, ‘I want you to know that I love you and there’s no way that I could ever measure it, because my love for you is forever.'”
The singer, speaking over Zoom from a midtown Manhattan hotel room, chokes up. “Now more than ever, I know she’s watching me,” he says. “I also know that she’s cheering me on. She’s cheering the band on. She’s cheering my dad on.”
