The slumping Portland Trail Blazers host the rising Phoenix Suns in a Western Conference battle at 8 p.m. on NBC.

Phoenix has won six of its past nine games against Portland, including the teams’ most recent matchup in November which the Suns won 127-110.

Though Phoenix is missing All-Star Devin Booker who has an injured ankle, the Suns continue to enjoy a dream season marked by dramatic leaps from Dillon Brooks, Collin Gillespie and Mark Williams. Phoenix went 3-1 to finish out a five-game home stand this week, beating the Nets, Pistons and Cavs before getting blown out by the Clippers.

Suns provide injury updates on Booker, Green ahead of Blazers game

Phoenix Suns All-Star Devin Booker has been ruled out of Tuesday’s game, Feb. 3, against the Portland Trail Blazers at Moda Center, while Jalen Green is listed as questionable.

The Suns (30-20) weren't scheduled to practice Feb. 2 on their travel day.

Booker missed the entire five-game homestand after suffering a right ankle sprain Jan. 23 against the Atlanta Hawks to end a six-game road trip.

"Book is making tremendous progress," Suns coach Jordan Ott said before Sunday's 117-93 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. "Obviously been on the court multiple times. Trending in a good spot."

Booker was due for a re-evaluation of the sprained right ankle this past weekend.
