Earl H. Smith, Canfield, Ohio
CANFIELD, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Earl H. Smith, 88 formerly of Canfield, passed away Tuesday evening, June 17, 2025, at Aventura at Assumption Village in North Lima.
Earl was born February 15, 1937, in Youngstown, a son of the late Arthur and Edith (Holt) Smith, and was a lifelong resident of the area.
After graduating from high school, he worked for General Fireproofing Company before serving in the U.S. Army, stationed in Europe. Upon returning home, he continued his service in the Army Reserves.
Earl was employed by the former LTV Steel Company until his retirement and later worked for nearly 20 years at Austintown Township Park.
