Authorities, negotiators respond to incident Sunday morning in south Toledo

TOLEDO, Ohio — Authorities responded to a shooting and resolved a barricade situation Sunday morning in south Toledo.
The call came in shortly after 7 a.m. Sunday, according to Toledo police at the scene. One person had been shot in the buttocks, and police described their condition as "stable." It is not clear if the victim had been shot at the scene or another location. The victim has not been identified by authorities. Police said that no suspect is in custody at this time.
The incident involved a barricade situation in the 2000 block of South Avenue. Four people, including three teenagers, were inside the house at the time. Negotiators worked with the individuals and resolved the situation in roughly two hours. No other injuries were reported.
