2025 NCAA women's volleyball tournament: Bracket, schedule, scores
The DI women's volleyball championship is here. The tournament continues Friday, Dec. 12 with regionals and lasts until the national championship on Sunday, Dec. 21 at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
The full 64-team bracket was announced on Sunday, Nov. 30. Thirty-one conference champions earned automatic bids to the tournament, with the NCAA DI women's volleyball committee selecting 33 other teams as at-large picks.

NCAA volleyball tournament bracket: Live scores, stats, highlights
Sweet 16 action continues in the 2025 NCAA volleyball tournament with a slate of four games on Friday.
No. 1 seed Texas kicked off the day by sweeping Indiana. No. 1 overall seed Nebraska will end the night against No. 4 Kansas after opening the tournament with back-to-back sweeps. The Huskers (32-0) remain undefeated and have only dropped seven sets all year, with the last coming nearly a month ago on Nov. 14 against UCLA.
Speaking of sweeps, No. 1 Kentucky and No. 1 Pittsburgh punched their tickets to the Elite Eight on Thursday. The Wildcats ended Cal Poly's Cinderella story in straight sets, while Pittsburgh brought out the brooms against Minnesota.

NCAA women's volleyball: Nebraska and the No. 1 seeds continue their dominance, while some Cinderellas remain
The first weekend of the NCAA volleyball tournament delivered on kills, points and of course, upsets. At campuses across the country, big names dominated, but there is still a Cinderella or two to cheer for as the tournament moves to the Sweet 16 this coming weekend. Here’s what you need to know from the first two rounds.
Perhaps it’s not a surprise to see No. 1 seeds romp their way to the regional semifinals, but Nebraska, Texas, Kentucky and Pittsburgh each won their first two matches of the tournament with relative ease. Among the four teams, only one dropped a set — Kentucky dropped its third set to UCLA in the second round, and then came back to take that match with a 25-17 set. Meanwhile, Pittsburgh had 99 kills over the weekend, and Texas scored 73 points more than its opponents. And Nebraska? They were so good that they inspired their own bullet point in this story.
